Mr. Aull is a Founding Partner and Senior Portfolio Manager of Aull & Monroe. He has an extensive history working in various aspects of the financial markets. Mr. Aull graduated from Northwestern University's Graduate School of Management with a Master's Degree in business administration.

Jim has over 45 years of experience in various areas of the financial markets.

While there he double-majored in finance and marketing, with a focus on securities analysis and portfolio management. Mr. Aull also has an undergraduate degree in economics and served in the United States Army in Vietnam.

After his post-graduate studies, Mr. Aull became a securities analyst and institutional broker with a New York Stock Exchange Member firm. In 1973, he joined the professional staff of the Office of Investigation and Audits of the Chicago Board of Trade. He advanced to the supervisor of the Market and Floor Trading Surveillance Group, with primary responsibility for monitoring all trades at the CBOT. Mr. Aull left this position in 1975 to purchase his own membership in the CBOT and became an independent trader. From 1975 to 1981, he was a floor broker and also traded for his own account. During this time he also was an outside financial consultant to CBOT members and member firms and served on several Exchange committees, including the Education Committee and the Board of Directors of the CBOT Foundation. Although Mr. Aull retains his full membership in the Chicago Board of Trade, he left the trading floor in 1982 to pursue other interests, including a futures clearing firm in which he is a partner, and to found Aull & Monroe.
